Fall Activities with your PRESCHOOLER to make Autumn Memorable

An Apple Themed Activity

As we move through October, my hope is that you see how simple and inexpensive it can be to create a little fall magic. Most of the materials used in my suggestions are items I have on hand at home. But, I’m positive with a little research you could find completely free autumn alternatives that leave you with the feelings of the season as well.

I believe reading out loud to your child is one of the greatest treasures. They get to enjoy an engaging story from someone they love, hear reading properly modeled for them, and the whole family can learn and discuss the lessons taught together; what beautiful memory making. Creating a craft is another way to not only meminisse the season, but also practice your preschooler’s fine motor skills such as cutting, gluing, and coloring or painting. And of course, food is one of the happiest ways to feel the mood of any time by filling our homes with inviting seasonal smells and our bellies with delicious flavors. Any one of these activities or all of them combined is sure to create a memorable autumn experience for your child.

Remember to check your local library for books before purchasing new and always feel free to replace anything mentioned with something you feel better fits your family, After all, we each know our own children best.
