The Gardener’s Heart

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”‭‭

Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭13‬ ‭

June Changes

A month full of exciting and rapid changes. From the earliest seedlings sprouting up through the soil in its beginning to becoming thriving, sturdy plants by its end. Some of us are even joyfully finding the hidden treasures of fruit, safely nestled away amongst the leaves and vines as it grows and ripens for harvest. Their arrival won’t remain discreet much longer. Soon these fruits will loudly burst forth, boldly announcing their presence with their vibrant displays of color standing proud against the green backdrop.

The Heart of The Gardener

This is where the heart of the gardener is found. The diverse colors, variety of shapes, the number of plants, the different sizes; all paint a picture of the gardener. Their purpose, their grit, and their joy. A dally through another’s garden can give you an intimate glimpse of that gardener’s heart and mind. Their distinct horticulture a proclamation of their unique nature.

Joy With The Lord

And as with all good things, we’re pointed to our Creator. Our omnipotent God who lovingly and perfectly formed us in our mother’s wombs. He knows us more intimately than any. And what a joy it is to be who He created us to be in our gardens and to share that joy with our Father in Heaven.
