Fall Activities with Your Preschooler To Make Autumn Memorable
A Pumpkin Themed Lesson
Many of us find Autumn to be an inspiring time; a time to create fun and meaningful memories with our families. I love a themed lesson and now that we’ve entered October, of course we’re going to do a lesson with pumpkins. This lesson may not be what you think of when you think of traditional learning but trust me, this is a lesson your whole family can engage with and enjoy!
Below you’ll find a simple lesson plan to follow with fairly loose guidelines. There’s a lot of room for individual preference here. Make a whole day dedicated to pumpkins or spread each activity out over a week. Below the lesson are links to the books I personally enjoy and links to someone more talented than me to show you the crafts and recipes I mention. If you do a quick search on Google or Pinterest, you can easily find links to other crafts and recipes you may prefer instead. Also, please don’t forget to check your local library for books before buying new.
